Apartment searching
Remember the days when looking for an apartment meant driving around a looking at places that may or may not have anything close to what you want? Or even better sifting through the newspaper trying to figure out what some mismatched blurb meant.
There are tons of online sites now that allow for the initial scan to be done from the comfort of home. Since I have been home sick, I have been checking out the apartments listed at apartments.com and rentnet.com. We still have about a month before we really have to start looking, but it doesn't hurt to start early.
It is way to hard to pick a place to live off of a few pictures online. What I do know now is what the prices are for each place and a bit of what to expect. I also have a list of places for us to check out and a list that is not worth the time. I have cut the ones that are more than we want to spend and the ones that it is clear we won't like.

Sweet.
So when's a good time in the next ~2 weeks for me to come up there and have my interview? :)

There's also an apartment book that I see at the busstop occasionally. It has tables of apartments grouped by location and comparing price, exercise facilities, pets allowed, pool, etc. Pretty helpful when I was helping Heather/Tonya look. If I see it again, I'll snag one for you.

Daniel - I assume you got Dan's email. I was with him when he wrote it, so I agree with what he said.
Bonnie - Yeah, if you see one and can grab it, that would be awesome. Thanks.
