Driving books
As I am sure we have mentioned, Dan and I are driving to NM. The plan is to drive the 24 hours only stopping for gas and to switch drivers when needed.
For our journey we have books on tape mp3 player with radio casting. For our listening pleasure (thanks to recommendation) we have A Short History of Nearly Everything and Freakonomics. I don't know a huge amount about either, but based on what little bit I have heard I want to read listen to them.
Who knows if we will want to listen to them the whole way, but I think with just the two books we have 28 hours.

24 hours? Pft, you can do it in less than that :)

I will only be in NM for just over 2 days. Christmas eve and Christmas day are split between are families. So, I will let you know when we are in town, but I have no idea where are little blocks of free time will be. Hopefully we can meet up at some point.

I just listened to Freakonomics on my trip to Moscow. Excellent "read." Next up is "Confessions of an Economic Hitman." I seem to be on an economics craze, having recently given up on a Neal Stephenson phase.

Bill - Yea, depending on the weather it should be faster than 24hours. We shall see.
Daniel - Friday late afternoon, we might be able to meet up. You should let us know what your schedule looks like.
Mouser - Ah ha, perhaps we will have listened to it before we see you.

Hmm... yes, I think that would work but I do need to be en route to Albuquerque that night. You're coming into Santa Fe or what?

We could either meet up in Pojoque or in Santa Fe depending on the time.
