Crossing the border

Wow, I know I have mentioned this before, but I am shocked when I get to NM every time. Literally, passing the Welcome to New Mexico it was obvious things had suddenly changed. Meters from the border, suddenly the traffic was insane. Don't get me wrong, there were not many cars at all. There were just crazy drivers mdash; slow cars in the left lane blocking the faster cars trying to pass on the right, people weaving all over. Clearly, they were each entitled to be first in line.

Then we stopped at a gas station and of course there was someone getting put into shackles. Being away from NM for so long I forget what becomes normal. Not one other state we drove through felt like that, nor did the driving patterns of people change as we drove more in NM.

Bwahahaha I recognize that picture. :) It's from some making-fun-of-Europe thing. Very good execution of it too, ask Dan for it if you haven't already seen it (which I don't know, I have no idea how you chose your pictures). Oh, and in other news: Merry Christmas. =P

Merry Christmas to you too.
As for my picture picking...it all depends on my mood :-)
