One 12 pack

264oz of beer 110oz of beer
I mentioned before that Dan and I were going to Issaquah with the hopes of finding our favorite Rogue beer flavors. Sure enough it was completely worth the drive.
First off the drive itself was quite nice. There are multiple ways to get there from here. We chose the east Sammamish route. The road basically follows Lake Sammamish. With almost no traffic, it took half the time we estimated to get to the brewery.
As for the town of Issaquah, well, how can I describe it other than calling it quaint? My goodness. I was literally expecting people to jump out and start singing or something. It was decorated to the t and just plain quaint. I forget how the rest of WA is until I travel out of the Seattle-Redmond-Bellevue area.
Finding Costco (out other destination) and the Rogue brewery was trivial.
To get it out of the way, Costco was worthless. I have already had a conversation with people trying to convince me that it is better than it is. I am glad that I went there and found that I needed nothing and had zero reason to get a membership. I am done talking about Costco.
Back on topic ... beer. So, the brewery has great beer. Their food is also quite nice. The have all organically raised meet (I don't want to hear about raising animals and eating meat—same thing) and fairly healthy versions of typical brewery food. Next time I am in Issaquah, I will likely eat there again. Another bonus to their food is that they cook with beer. Mmmm.
In the end we were able to get the beer in bottles. The one caveat was that all the bottles were 22oz. At first we almost bought 6 of Dan's favorite, the hazelnut. Luckily the kind waiter informed us that buying 11 bottles got you one extra for free. Without hesitation we went for the 12 pack.
This was just a few days ago. We came home with 264oz (contrary to popular drunk belief 12x22 does not equal 244). Today we have 110. Perhaps my next visit to Issaquah will be sooner than expected.

After 7 22oz. beers, 12x22 sure as hell equals 244.

You can buy Rogue beer in a bottle? Hot damn that's phenomenal. We have some access to them via the hippy grocery stores in Santa Fe, but that's where it ends.

Those same grocery stores (Whole foods and Trader Joe's I assume) and even less hippy stores have Rogue in a bottle here. The trick is finding more than a few of the flavors. The grocery stores seem to only ever have Dead Guy Ale and maybe one or two other flavors.
Either way, yes, it is hot!
