'o' != 0
Letters are not numbers. Unlike letters, numbers do not have lower case versions.
Livejournal does not agree. If you look at the syndicated account for this blog you might not notice right away. For some reason 0xc0debabe is correct everywhere except when viewing it from a friends page.
Edit: This is actually a much better picture. As you can clearly see, letters and numbers are sold separately.
Edit (again): Livejournal is dumb because they use the Georgia typeface which underestimates the awesomeness of numbers.

Actually, they're Spaghetti-O's.

...which explains why there's spaghetti sauce in my alphabits.

In my friends page, and in my Syndicated Account view, it looks fine. The coloring of your screenshot makes me think it's your whack theme that looks wrong :)
I can take a screenshot of the Syndicated Account screen if you need convincing.

That's right—the font is fine everywhere but on the "friends" page on certain LJ themes...specifically, those that use the Georgia typeface, because it uses tiny zeros that look like little os.

It's not LJ's fault that you use a crap theme :)
