Coffee complications

Awhile back Dan mentioned a coffee incident. He was actually quite nice and didn't mention that it was me who totally goofed and forgot to change thr grounds.

Come to think of it, I forgot to change the grounds in the hotel coffee when I went to New Mexico last week. I blame that on the confusion of two people making the coffee at the same time.

So, yes, I am the ultimate at forgetting to change the grounds. Gosh it really sucks when that happens too.

Well, today I did not forget the grounds. I wasn't the one making the coffee at all. Dan ground the coffee. Replaced the filter and added the grounds. He then got water. A few minutes later the clicking of the finished-and-sitting coffee pot started. Hmm, I didn't notice the sound of the coffee actually getting made. Lo and behold, the water must be poured into the machine to actually make coffee. Oh, so close.

The now-warm water got poured out and new cold water was put into the machine. Yay. Oh wait. A few more minutes later I noticed that there was no coffee. Oops. Guess the coffee pot should be on.

Coffee time came a bit late today. Oh the joy of someone else having coffee pot issues for once.
